PEGASIS is a robotic arm capable of retrieving and analyzing soil samples for mass, temperature, and colorimetry.
The Primary Extracting Analyzing Soil Sampler (AKA: Pegasis) is a fully operational prototype designed for remote space operation. The device is designed as an attactment to a martian rover and emulates current cutting edge technology. It contains an autonomous control system with a live video feed, 13 integrated elements and 4 degrees of freedom.
